The Marlene Dietrich Portrait Edition
The Marlene Dietrich Portrait Edition was introduced in the summer of 2008 at the request of Ralph Lauren to use in his Polo boutiques. The image has been cropped vertically to duplicate a rare print that Milton H. Greene created for an exhibition at the International Center of Photography in the late 1970s. This photograph was taken in 1952 with a Rollieflex camera, which produced a 2 1/4″ × 2 1/4" square negative. This edition is limited to 50 small and 25 large prints for each photograph.
There are 6 Artist Proofs and 11 Exhibition Prints, which brings the edition total to 92 prints. Artist proofs are not available to the public and kept in-house at The Archives. Details on Exhibition Prints can be found on the corresponding product page.
