Marilyn Monroe – Trestle Sitting (T-2)

The Essential Marilyn Collection
Milton H. Greene
  • Marilyn Monroe was living with the Greenes in Weston, Connecticut when this image was taken in December of 1955. This series, entitled "The Trestle Sitting," was photographed in his daylight studio which had been converted from a barn. Marilyn radiates a warm glow, even with a white background, posing between sawhorses in the studio. Wearing a striped, button-up short sleeved shirt, her hands meet behind her neck while her elbows rest on the sawhorses.Pin_it_button
