Fashion Classic Art Prints
Milton H. Greene
  • Milton H. Greene traveled to Ireland in 1953 to photograph a new rising fashion designer by the name of Sybil Connelly. Sybil's house model was Ann Gunning She was a natural.

Ann always fell into the right position. Here Ann knocks at the door while someone peers through the drawn sheer curtains in the window. Her oval face, wide shoulders, tiny waist, height and her ability to have fun while being photographed made her an ideal subject.

This introduction to the world via _Life Magazine_ launched both Connelly and Gunning's careers worldwide. Ann went on to be photographed by the greatest photographers of the day. Pin_it_button
