Marilyn Monroe – Wicker Sitting (W-20)

The Single Editions
Milton H. Greene
  • In September of 1954, Milton H. Greene shot Marilyn Monroe in his New York studio, wearing blue pedal pushers and matching blouse from Jax. Marilyn sits in a wicker chair provided by Milton as a prop. During the New York studio sessions, champagne and caviar relaxed the subject, yielding extraordinary pictures. Completely at ease with one shoe off and one on, Marilyn laughs playfully after spilling a bit of her drink.Pin_it_button
